CRPC... A Club for Gun Enthusiasts

History
In 1968, a group of local residents were looking for a place to shoot that was away from population centers and had enough room to shoot safely and not bother anyone with the noise. That's when Coast Rifle and Pistol Club was born. After signing a long-term lease, the club began with trap and skeet fields and a rifle range.

Over the following decades, the club has grown from just a few members to almost 1500 today. The facilities have expanded over time, and today, we have lots of distinct and different ranges for all kinds of shooting and archery. Pretty must anything you have has a range for it at CRPC.

Our Mission
Coast Rifle and Pistol Club has three priorities. First, we are dedicated to providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere where it’s members and guests can enjoy the shooting sports. Second, CRPC supports new shooter development through a focus on youth. And finally, CRPC further enhances the shooting experience via a solid focus on educational opportunities.

A Volunteer Club
We’re proud to be a member-run organization dedicated to promoting the shooting sports. Our success depends on the many dedicated volunteers who help organize matches and support club activities.

If you notice something that needs attention or have a skill that could benefit the club, we encourage you to reach out to a board member and offer your assistance. Every contribution makes a difference—your involvement helps keep our club strong and thriving!

Club Leadership

Coast Rifle and Pistol Club is led by six elected (unpaid) Officers and four Directors who are accountable to the membership. You can find their contact information on the Contact Us page.

These Officers handle the day-to-day administration of the club, but the success of our operations depends on the involvement of our members. We encourage all members to volunteer for range projects and shooting events.

Range Cleanliness is Everyone’s Responsibility

The club hires a cleaning service for basic weekly maintenance, which includes emptying trash cans, general tidying, and replacing target backer boards. However, keeping the range clean is a shared responsibility.

Please pick up all trash you generate—and any you happen to see—during your visit. When each member leaves the range better than they found it, we reduce the club’s cleanup costs and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all. Be sure to clean up your brass and sweep your firing position when you're finished shooting.

Club Meetings and Member Involvement
CRPC Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. These meetings are open to all members and serve as a forum to discuss club business, share ideas, and voice opinions on current projects and initiatives. Club Officers and Board Members vote on important matters during these meetings, and your input is always welcome.

Once a year—typically in January—we hold the Annual General Membership Meeting. This meeting includes club-wide votes on key issues and the election of CRPC Officers. All officer and director positions are unpaid and serve 3-year terms. If you're interested in serving the club in a leadership role, we encourage you to step forward and run for office.

All members are strongly encouraged to attend both the monthly Board meetings and the Annual Meeting. Your participation helps shape the future of the club!

The Clubhouse
The clubhouse is here for all members to enjoy. Please feel free to use it—but always leave it in the same condition you found it, or better.

At times, the clubhouse is reserved for matches, training sessions, or other club activities. To avoid scheduling conflicts, be sure to check the club calendar on our website. If you'd like to reserve the clubhouse or the clubhouse training room for a training event, contact the Club Secretary.

In addition to the main clubhouse, a small training annex is located near Pistol Range #5. This facility is used for administrative purposes during pistol matches and may also be reserved for small group training.
